I know that a lot of people aren't going to see this and I would put it on Discord but I don't want to advertise (I mean its on their website but still), flood and it exceeds the word limit of 2,000 and it would be a pain to do.
During my time on this server I have met many wonderful people and I'm still in contact with a vast majority of them. Throughout the years the server has lost it's popularity but also improved, on Creative we went from 200 to barely 30. I remember constantly making new role plays, attending them, all of my friends being Online but I have no memories like this from 2018. Everyday people would be talking about how they are, ranks, Staff members and way more but now all you see is an occasional joining message of a Crystal / Supernovite donor. When Creatives popularity began to drop more, it was obvious why. Towny was the new best thing.
I began to enjoy Towny myself which was surprising because previously I hated it, resets, lag and reboots were a downer but it was still fun now when I go on I see one or two people besides myself in tab and no chat messages besides tips / reminders or fun unscrambling / reaction games. I remember just beating people in 'Reaction' or seeing them misspell something. Don't even get me started on the auction spams.
Skyblock is where me and my ibf's really bonded and spent time together (we're still in touch now and are going to meet each other soon) and I actually had a best friend who was a male. Sadly we're not in touch now. Once again, so many people used to be on there.
During a seasonal event / whenever tags were up for grabs on Parkour me and so many of my friends would rush over there and attempt to receive them and each time there were 10 or more people on besides us. Now there is 0-2 most of the time.
A vast majority of members begged for the old KitPvp map back but when we got it they were disappointed / barely anyone played on it.
Me, Luna and Ava occasionally played on Factions and once again 10 or more people were always on there besides us, I look at it now and no one is ever on.
The Event server was great but most people in the UK missed out on opportunities to get a tag, along with New Years where you can only get the tag if you are Online at Americas or whatever's time zone which is really disappointing.
A few of my friends used to play on Skywars a lot and I would sometimes go with them but now not one person is online.
So many people donated to help this server grow but now look at it, I'm not trying to hate I'm just being honest.

"Is the server ever gonna be alive again?"
"I really dont care for a lot of players anymore. I like it at this level."

As I am writing this, the amount of players went from around 5.. 10... 9... 10.. 11... 10... 12... 9 although in previous years it would be in the hundreds or close.
After MelonMC happened many players left but many also stayed but then it was changed again to Crafters Cove resulting in more and more people leaving. Personally I don't get what the big deal about the name change is because its still the same server just a different name.
Over the years many of my friends have left and I have lost all contact with them but I want to thank Crafters Cove for the friends that I still have to this day. This server has been a big part of my life (considering I'm always on my Computer ehehe) and I am thankful for that. It's crazy for me to think that If this girl never thought I was a boy on this other server and invited me to join "Blockville" I wouldn't be writing this right now, I wouldn't know all of the people I do and I certainly wouldn't be as happy. This isn't a goodbye it's simply a thank you even though it doesn't really seem like it.
If you have read all of this then damn you are committed or just have nothing else to do right now, and once again thank you for:

I used to play on this server daily back when it was blockville. I remember when the only mode for this server was towny and had an average of about 70 people online at once. It then later expanded to creative, factions, kitpvp and of course towny (the pandora map). This is what I consider the "golden age" of blockville, you could usually find 175-250 people on the server at once (combined server total) I remember a point in time when I could log onto kitpvp and see atleast 65 people fighting it out at once, but after the map changed people just stopped playing. That caused the decline that eventually killed kitpvp atleast for me. I focused on creative for a while producing some pretty cool builds, but after a couple of months the server started to dip down player count wise, I don't know why but it did and I eventually left too. (Around 2015ish) I came back about half a year later to see what had went on in the server and noticed they added a ton of new game modes, but player count was still down. I still decided to give them a go, I had fun in the old skywars they had for a period of time, when anybody was actually online that was. I played Towny again and made even more friends, but then I found a new server to play on so I moved there (end of 2015) after that I never really truly came back to blockvile just watched from a "distance" as it slowly declined even more with player count. They then did the name changes for whatever reason. I joined the server recently just to check it out and I have to say it is just a shell of it's former self I don't know what can be done to "save" it tho. In all honesty I've also started to lose interest in Minecraft I now mostly play fallout 4, 7 days to die, and space engineers. I'll alway remember this server and how how much fun I had in it and all the great people I met over the years :)

I wish I was still in contact with the people I've met from this server but sadly I've lost that information over the years. Just curious, what year did you first join the server? I first joined close to the end of 2013.
